Shooting Macro with My iPhone 12

I recently bought a Moment macro lens for my iPhone 12. The lens attaches to my phone via Moment’s case, and the build quality is impressive. Using Moment’s Pro Camera app takes the lens to the next level, giving you as much manual control as you want. ISO, focus, shutter speed, white balance, etc. can be left in auto or adjusted using sliders.

How much closer can you focus with a Moment macro lens than with the iPhone 12’s native lens? I took these two photos to demonstrate:

I’m still learning my way around the lens, but I’ve been having a ton of fun. (I have Moment’s wide-angle lens coming from B&H tomorrow.) Below are a few of my favorite macro photos so far.

P.S. I want a pet jumping spider.
